Javier Maza
President
Maza Communications, Inc.
A University of Lima graduate, Javier Maza is
a professional journalist with 20 years’ experience in the
field. He has worked for key media organizations in his native country,
Peru, including El Comercio newspaper, the oldest in the country.
Now residing in Miami, Maza has built an extensive career in Media
Training.
He has been communications director for Travel
Channel Latin America, Ericsson Latin America and managing supervisor
at Fleishman-Hillard Latin America. As a Media Training consultant,
he has worked with companies and governments in Costa Rica, Guatemala,
Honduras, Mexico, Panama and Peru, as well as with U.S. multinationals.
He has been a speaker at various international conferences hosted
by Florida International University (FIU) and Universidad Iberoamericana
in Mexico.
He is the author of "Cómo Enfrentar con Éxito
a los Periodistas".

César Martínez
He has been creative director for a number of advertising
agencies, and has directed hundreds of political spots run by media
outlets throughout the Hemisphere. He was creative director for
President George W. Bush communications campaign targeting the Hispanic
community. Additionally, he has worked in several campaigns for
legislation initiatives undertaken by the U.S. and Mexican governments.
He currently provides visual and advertising consulting services
to top serving officials in and out of the United States.
Martínez was also creative director at San
Antonio, Texas-based GDC Marketing & Communications, one of
the leading advertising and marketing agencies in the United States.
He has been a speaker at numerous international conferences hosted
by Miami-based Centro Interamericano de Gerencia Política.
He is president of Mas Consulting in San Antonio, Texas.

René Casados A
Maza Communications Inc associate consultant specializing in public
image, he is a distinguished professional in political communications
consulting. In addition, he has had a successful career as an actor,
which makes him one of the most renowned professionals in the field.
He served governments, political candidates, companies and organizations
in and out of Mexico, his native land, where he currently resides.
He is also founder and president of Imagen, Arte
y Comunicación. An active member of the Asociación
Latinoamericana de Consultores Políticos and of the Centro
Interamericano de Gerencia Política, he acts as consultant
to Grupo Televisa’s Office of the President in Mexico.

Marcos Ommati
A Portuguese media trainer.
A native from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Ommati worked
as a Discovery Channel host and has also been a contributor to important
Portuguese-language publications in the region. He also worked for
Bloomberg Television and Radio, where he directly managed day-to-day
operations of a team of 30 people in New York, São Paulo
and Buenos Aires for Portuguese/Spanish language television and
radio stations.
In the year 2001, after 10 years living in the
US, Marcos was invited to return to Brazil and work as a news anchor
and special reporter for the second largest Brazilian TV station,
SBT.
He is a graduate in Journalism from the Federal
University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), and in Interpretation from
the University of Rio de Janeiro (UNI-RIO).

Arlene Rivera
Is a journalist with more than 5 years of experience. She studied
Broadcast Journalism at Florida International University and has
been involved in different areas of mass communication such as on-air
work, field interviews, radio / television commercials, voice over
work, and live show production. Her current communication activities
include production of a live television show at Telemundo / NBC.
She held the title of Miss Latina World 2002 and has hosted and
co-hosted several events such as the Miss Puerto Rico Pageant in
Puerto Rico.
